Jammu, June 25: The scheduled medical examination to ascertain mental state of Yasir Alfaz, accused of desecrating ancient Religious Place at Roopnagar on June 14 , could not be conducted today. According to official sources, the Medical examination of accused of Religious Place, desecration was deferred as the full panel of five members was not present today. They said that authorities will decide next date of medical examination of accused. Sources also said that one of the reason to postponement of medical board could be the safety of accused as besides large number of media persons large number of members of right wing organizations have assembled outside the Govt Psychiatry Diseases Hospital Jammu "A doctor of Medicine department also was replaced with Psychiatrist as corium was not complete, sources further added. "Sources added that the doctors in the panel of board included Dr B N Bhougal, Department of Medicine, Dr Shabnam Rivees, Expert from Department of Psychiatry, Dr B R Kundal, Neurologist from Department of Neurology and Dr Rakesh Banal, Psychiatrist and Dr Rameshwar from Department of Psychiatry. Penitently, after the State government on June 15 announced the probe to investigate the temple desecration incident which resulted into tensions in winter capital, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu constituted medical board of five doctors board of five to ascertain the status of the mental health of the alleged accused in the Religious Place, desecration incident that took place in Roop Nagar , Mohammed Yasir Alfaz will go through a series of examinations.
