Jammu, June 25:Jammu For India today launched its mass contacts programme "Jammu in Danger" at Manda forest area. The activists of Jammu for India interacted with about 1000 morning walkers and distributed pamphlets. A large number of people discussed the dangers to the unity of Jammu region from the change in demography and BJP-PDP government's commitment to the Agenda of Alliance to divide Jammu in three distinct regions viz Jammu Plains, (Non Existant) Chenab valley and Pir Panjal region. Prof. Hari Om, Convenor JFI said that JFI came into existence on April 22, last due to the existential threat to the unity of Jammu, especially minorities by the evil mechanism of Indian Political Class and Delhi Darbar. He said that during past two months large number of people have come out in support of Jammu for India and its cause and people from as distant as Erstwhile Doda district, Rajouri and Poonch have been inviting them to visit the area and have an on the spot assessment of the deterioration in the situation. Prof. Hari Om said that recent attempts of desecration of temples, encroachment of cremation grounds by members of a particular community are not isolated cases but part of a pattern as was visible in Kashmir valley in the initial years. He urged the people to be aware of such attempts and remain united.
