Early Times Report Srinagar, June 26: A constable of J&K police was wounded critically when a teargas shell exploded in Pampore in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where a shutdown is observed today Official sources said that police personnel were carrying teargas shells to prevent any law and order problem, where eight CRPF personnel and two militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) were killed and 22 personnel were injured yesterday. However, one of the shell exploded accidently resulting in serious injuries to a constable Mehrajuddin Baba. The injured has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition, they said. Panic gripped in the area and people ran for safety after hearing the blast. |
