JMC begins solid, liquid resource management | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 27: Under Swachh Bharat Mission, and clean India campaign Jammu Municipal Corporation started Solid and Liquid Resource Management (SLRM) training programme on Monday. According to press release, on the direction of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Mandeep Kaur, the training programme is being conducted by C Srinivasan, Project consultant Indian Green Service resource person for SLRM project under the Ministry of urban development, Govt. of India at Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust. "The project aims to make Jammu city neat and clean and garbage free. More than 800 trainees participated in the training programme and the trainees especially females showed keen interest and enthusiasm in making Swachh Jammu Mission a great success", said JMC spokesperson, adding that on the first day 6 (Six) teams of trainees, zone wise were formed for Jammu city. JMC appealed to the residents of Jammu city to cooperate with us in providing details to the survey team and achieving the goal of swachatta. |
