Jammu, June 27: PHE workers under the banner of PHE workers welfare Association today stages protest demonstration against government for not resolving the pending demands of daily wagers.
According to press release, hundreds of workers assembled in front of Chief Engineer Office raised slogans against minister for PHE/ Irrigation and Flood Control who has not responded their demands positively.
The employees have been demanding regularization of all sorts of workers after 5 years, all pending wages of workers be released, one family member of the deceased daily rated workers be given job in the department on compassionate ground, left out daily wages, be included in the mains list of daily wages the already engaged land donors workers be given regular wages Rs 350 per day be given to all daily wages workers.
The prominent leaders of Association of different divisions those who have addressed the gatherings are Rattan Doshi, Ram Labhaya, Chuni Lal, Babbu Singh, Swaran Singh, Bansi Lal, Mohan Singh, Lal Chand, Chain Singh and Satish Kumar. |
