Jammu, June 27::Doda Migrants today stages protest demonstration against Relief Commissioner here at canal road for not implementing the central government orders to grant the migrant status at par with the Kashmiri migrants for which they have been demanding for the same since the orders issued by the government of India on November 18, 2015.
Speaking on the occasion, Union President Suraj Rana said that there are 450 families of Doda migrants whose verification has also been completed in all respects but not yet registered as migrants and provided all such facilities as has been provided to the Kashmiri migrants.
They appeals to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene in this matter and directed to Relief Commissioner to early implement the direction of Government of India.
Wali Mohd Khan, Abdul Qayoom, Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Farooq, Kunj Lal, Joginder Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Lal Chand, Bodh Raj, Abdul Qayoomo and Ghulam Nabi were also present during protest. |
