Kathua, June 25 : Nearly 600 lts of lahan and 15 bottles and 120 pouches of illicit liquor were today destroyed in a series of raids in about seven Kathua villages. The raids were conducted joinly the excise team, Kathua, and eradication and enforcement wing, Jammu, iin Kalibari, Nakia, Dadoli, Maichak, Banoti, Muthikhurd and Saktachak areas of Kathua district, according to official sources. Sources said raids would continue in Kathua areas in the days to come to arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor. |
