samba, June 28: People of village Nichla of Samba District organized Surgu Kesari Dangal at village Nichla at the Mazar of Pir Baba. The dangal is being organised every year on 14th of Ashaad (27th or 28th of June). Member of Organizing committee Murari Lal, Sat Paul, Kewal Sharma, Mohinder Paul and Sagar Chand told that as many as 76 competitions of wrestling were held in the fair.
Meanwhile, Kala and Shamsher lift the title of Surgu Kesari Dangal jointly as none could succeed in beating the other in final competition. |
