Jammu, June 28: An IPS officer, who is at present posted in the valley, enjoys so much of influence at the PHQ that he always manges his postings to the places of his choice.
"He is nowadays taking rounds of the residences of seniors at the PHQ to get his district changed and go to another district of his choice," police sources alleged.
"He often remains in headlines because of his work," sources informed, saying that he was the only IPS officer of his batch who had been managing his transfers so frequently.
He was once posted in Jammu region also but had soon managed his transfer back to Kashmir where he remains happy. "He is now making efforts to get himself transferred to a district of his choice. Given his past record, he is likely to get the district of his choice soon," sources said.
"As he enjoys the blessings of senior officers at the PHQ, he every time manages choice postings for him with their help," sources alleged. |
