TWA demands to release salary of ReTs, RMSA Masters | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 29: Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers and Master's working under RMSA scheme are without pay for the last six months and these teachers should be provided unpaid salary till date, urged Jasmeet Singh Madaan, President, Teacher's Welfare Association (TWA) to Chief Minister and Finance Minister. On the one hand, government is contemplating and striving hard to provide quality education to the students and issuing different circulars and orders to make the education sector more vibrant and efficient, at the same time, ReT Teachers, Masters at the helm of affairs are without salary since last six months and many families are at the threshold of starvation. Many ReTs and Masters have availed different kind of loans and have become defaulters due to non-payment of their loan installments. Madaan urged the special intervention of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu towards this issue and ensure the timely release of the salary of these employees in toto before Eid so that the festival after holy Ramadan be celebrated with full gaiety and fervour. |
