ReTTF highlights demands of ReT teachers, seeks early redressal

Doda, June 30: All Jammu and Kashmir Rehber-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (ReTTF) Thathri submitted the list of Zonal Body, Sub-Zonal Body and list of cluster representatives and Charter of demands to Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thathri.
According to spokesperson, through the charter of demands, the forum has highlighted long pending demands viz. release of pending NPS/GPF of teachers for the period of 2013-14, release of pending arrears of newly regularized ReTs and to expedite regularization process.
Other demand including the immediate detachment of senior assistant Hardesh Kumar immediately as ZEO office Thathri is in shortage of staff and Immediate filling the vacancies of ZRPs and CRPs as only one ZRP is working in the zone.
In the memorandum the RETs forum Thathri also stated that resentment is brewing among fraternity over the remarks of MLA Doda in the state assembly seeking verbal directions of Education Minister for withholding the salary and sending back of transferred RETs by saying the transfer as unauthorised.
Speaking on the occasion zonal president Naseer Ahmed Butt told that government should stream-line the salary of SSAs who yet have not been paid for the last five or six months.
He also demands to release the salary before Eid. SDM Thathri after hearing the deputation patiently, assured the deputation that the demands of the ReTs forum will solved as soon as possible.
SDM further suggested that the teachers should contribute about 10% to the poor, orphans and backwards of the society. SDM communicated to DDC doda and CEO Doda vide his latter no:- SDM/T/583-85 and request them to redress demands of ReTs as early as possible.
The delegation which called on SDM Thathri included Rashpal Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Rakesh Shawan, Sheraz Zargar, Kamran Zargar, Chander Krishan, Suresh kumar, Tanveer Ahmed, Nisar Ahmed,Firdous Ahmed ,Javed Khan, Baldev kumar, Gulzar Ahmed etc.
