| Masters transferred against non-existing posts, retiring officials | | 'Advance booking for choice postings in DSEJ' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Director School Education Jammu ordering transfer of 151 masters has come under scanner as seven masters have been adjusted against those who are set to retire from the government services within 2 to 8 months while some have been transferred within zero kilometer.
However, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had pulled up the school education department for violating the norms of transfer policy for "accommodating" influential teachers in selected schools, saying this harms the academics in schools in the month of April this year.
"The Director School Education (DSE) Jammu vide order No. 386-DSEJ of 2016 dated 20-07-2016 ordered transfer of 151 masters but surprisingly seven master were shifted against the retirees wherein only two of them are getting retire on 31-07-2016 and rest have 5 to 8 months pending for their retirement", mentioned in the transfer list of the DSEJ.
If sources are to be believed this clear cut advance booking of the postings as the seven masters were transferred against the non-existing posts and the order also reads that the masters adjusted against the retirees shall be drawn out of overall cadre strength of the post till the retirees superannuates.
As per order of the School Education, Master Ashutosh (S no. 1) has been transferred from High School Barmota and posted at Middle school Bhagthali vice Master Ashok Kumar who is retiring on 31-01-2017, Master Jasbir Singh (S no. 4) has been transferred to High School Basti Gulab Garh vice Veena Rani who is retiring on 31-12-2016, Master Neelam Rani (S no..26) who has been transferred from Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar posted at Girls Higher Secondary School Satwari vice Narinder Kour who is retiring on 31-07-216, Master Pushpanjli (S no. 51) who has been transferred from Girls Higher Secondary School Jakh and posted at Middle School Moutrian Kallan vice Swarup Chander who is retiring on 31-12-2016, Master Mohd Taj (S no. 117) who is under transfer at High School Plera has been transferred to Middle School Bawli vice Amrit Kour who is retiring on 31-07-2016, Master Kuldeep Kumar (S no. 132) who is under transfer order has been transferred and posted at High School Girls Sarore vice Bindiya retiring on 28-02-2017.
Master Karuna Bajaj (S.no. 141) transferred from High School Katwalta and posted at High School Seri Panditan vice Ramkali who is retiring on 31-1-2017. Meanwhile, there are some many masters who have been transferred within one kilometer like Master Anil Kumar (S no.142) transferred from Girls High School Kambal Danga and posted at Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi vice master Jugal Kishore (s no. 143) who has been transferred to Girls High School Kambal Danga from Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi and distance between both the schools is just 700 meters.
This is not isolated case where transfers were made within one kilometer which is clear cut violations of transfer policy. |
