Poonch July 25: Retired personnel of Central Para-Military Forces in a meeting held in Mendhar of Poonch highlighted the alleged discriminatory and step motherly treatment meted out to them by the constitutional ruling lords and also listed their long pending genuine demands. The meeting of Ex-central Para Military Forces Welfare Association (ECPMFWA) held at Dak Banglow Mendhar under its Distt. President Haji Mohd Ayum Khan Ferozal on the other day discussed various issues of the ex servicemen of Central Para Military Forces. The members deliberated upon long pending demands and to end alleged discrimination inflicted upon Ex-central paramilitary forces CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles comprising of retired personnel's veer naris and dependent at 75 lakhs all over the country. Speaking on the occasion the members highlighted their demands like to frame separate service and pension rules instead of CCS rules, Exemption from new contributory pension system (NPS) to serving CPMP personnel which has exempted for armed force from 2004, Grant of para military services pay to be calculated for pensions, One rank one pension (OROP), Grant of Ex. Service main status with other benefits, CSD Canteen facilities, Extend ECXHS facilities, Change of present nomenclature of central armed force (CAPFS) to central para military force CPMF), Grant statutory Para military welfare board similar to sanik welfare board, Fixing of pension with Grade pay HSP as entitle to defence force, hike of medical allowance from Rs 500 to Rs. 3000/-, Reserve quota for Ex serviceman and their wards for re-employment Govt. Education and technical institutions, Ex service main status to retired personal 7 CPC announces to the implemented w.e.f. 01-01-2016 not yet declared and implemented and Extra coach for all CPMFS in long route trains. Other demands included 50 % pensions to medically ground pensioners, ACP and MACP benefits pree 99 and after 2008 personnel who completed 20 years of service, Revision of widow pension equal to male pension. |
