Jammu, July 27: All J&K Diploma Engineers Association, Jammu has condemned the callous attitude of the administration towards Diploma Engineers. In a general body meeting held today, the Association addressed by Engineer Upinder Singh, president said though the association has represented the present establishment a number of times for consideration of its long pending demands yet the no heed is being paid. He said the continued apathy of the administration towards Diploma Engineers has generated a great deal of resentment among the cadre. He warned the administration that the sulking cadre will resort to agitation if that continue to ignore the cadre. While addressing the cadre Er Anil Gupta Chairman of the association demanded implementation of Punjab pattern to avoid growing unrest among the cadre. Er. J. S. Rathore while addressing told the cadre that hurdles are being created by some vested interests in realization of the long pending demands and demanded immediate restoration of 65 Nos. of left over posts of Assistant Engineers in favour of Diploma Engineers. Other who spoke on the occasion include Er. Rajesh Sharma, Er. K. C. Raina, Er. K. K. Sharma, Er. Ram Lal, Er. Arshad, Er. Tanveer, Er. Vinay, Er. Irshad & Er. Jaipal Sharma. |
