Jammu July 27: The audacity of separatists to implement their pre-conceived agenda of engulfing valley and commoners has proved very costlier to general public now wishing peace and normalcy after 18 day strike. Even separatists do not have any idea about the type of azadi in mind to achieve when Kashmir valley and kashmiris have enough independence of rights vis-vis common persons living in the state, said Jagan Nath Koul, inhabitant of Kashmir Valley . He was astonished to find the helplessness of the law enforcing agencies to timely reign in on those who are provokers and virtually responsible for bringing untold miseries and huge financial loss to the people of the State due to the system failure which got totally paralyzed for more than two weeks. He added that there is no paucity of means with the government to stem the tide of terror, but the will and firm determination is needed to put to end the endless anti India designs of local and non-local actors.
Taking a dig on the double standards of state and centre governments for oozing out crocodile tears on the stone pelters with people openly participating and protesting in the curfew bound areas in Kashmir, Mahesh Chander, retired defense official, said that politicians running the governments should shun their vote bank politics and law of the land should definitely prevail without any prejudice on law violators whosoever indulges into it without knowing the legal implications of the same.
He said that when country is one and J&K is its an integral part, then showing sympathy with law violators, who are nothing else but only miscreants does not befit well in so far as the administration of justice is concerned, he questioned. Commoners in Kashmir, who are poor and have nothing to take anything from these separatists, have numerous questions making rounds in their mind and they put forward in privy that what they have got in 18 days of crippled daily routine which has brought them at the verge of starvation with no money and eatables to feed their children.
Do deaths of young boys, destruction of public property, destroying the whole tourist season, maiming eyes of new generation, shutting up the business activities, educational institution, essential supplies, milk for new born babies and small children etc finally fall in the lap of kashmiris after instigating the gullible lads of Kashmir by these separatists handcuffed by their foreign handlers, they lamented.
As the desperation of separatists has denuded them to a greater extent, reveal the media reports which say that the youth of Kashmir are denying the shutdown or relaxation calls of separatists with impunity challenging their position which is speedily decaying in the valley.
A senior citizen, Tirath Ram said that local youth have gradually understood the clever ploy of separatists to mint money with major booty going in their pocket and parting with paltry amount to involve youth generally illiterate belonging to poor strata of society for keeping the pot of disturbances boiling in Kashmir.
It appears that the mentality of few gullible young elements ambitious of making quick buck like separatists to become rich overnight is now being directly exploited by outside forces which looks to be a dangerous trend and needs to be cut to size by the government before it gets too late, he added.
Perusal of media reports emanating from Kashmir reveal that people pricked by these unfortunate events in Kashmir wanted to have some respite from the pain and pangs of violence which dominated Kashmir for eighteen days after curfew restrictions lifted the other day in Srinagar. But soon after lifting curfew restrictions, another group of miscreants appeared in Srinagar shouting anti India slogans and waving Pakistani and ISIS flags in full public view creating fear psychosis for people who wanted to visit market for getting essential items for their families.
Saying that it is absolutely correct that change is the law of nature, Harsukh Kour, Kashmiri migrant, further added that for how much long this aimless hooliganism shall be tolerated by a common man who has no say to voice his resentment against these white collar crime perpetrators in the guise of separatism. She said that if commoners say anything against these violators of law and perpetrators of crime in the valley instigating youngsters, they( commoners) will be the first casualty of their(separatists) wrath for disobeying and denouncing their dictatorial calls for bandhs, she rued. Where to go and whom to tell their tale of woes, said a commoner wishing not to be quoted with chocked voice ,adding that he felt happiness to find the normalcy limping back in Srinagar after lifting the curfew with people started resuming their normal routine, but the impact of instigation by separatists by applying tempting means has kept the hooligans still active as they again resorted to hooliganism soon after lifting restrictions making the commoners to again keep them confined in the four walls of their houses.
Is this Azadi or Gulami of separatists and their agents who do not want to have commoners to heave a sigh of relief and resume normal activities which is more dear than anything else ,said Ram Rattan Bhat still living with people of other community in Kashmir. On the one hand, let the people of the valley see through the tricks of separatists playing with them who have no sympathy with them except to achieve their sinister designs and on the other hands, the government and law enforcing agencies should make joint efforts to curb those indulging into unlawful adventures in the valley to bring back lasting peace and calm there, he hoped.
