Inmates express concern over leakage in Jagti Quarters

Jammu, July 28: Inmates of Jagti Colony have expressed their grave concern over the leakage of their quarters during rainy season sources said.
Lambasting the lackadaisical approach of Relief authorities social activist Sunil Pandita said as rains start the leakage through walls, ceiling and rooftops takes place but despite reminding several times to the men at helm no action is being taken putting the inmates to the trouble, Pandita said.
It is pertinent to mention here that many buildings in Kashmir Township at Jagti have developed cracks and during the rains leakages took place resulting in inconnivenience to inmates sources said, adding that many times the matter was brought before the authorities nut due to lackadaisical approach of the concerned authorities nothing concrete has been done.
While urging relief authorities to take preventive measures Sunil Pandita said that before it is too late authorities must take the cognizance of the inmates plight, Pandita added.
