Amarnath yatra: Small batch of 429 pilgrims leave from Jammu

Jammu, July 28: Yet another small batch consisting of 429 pilgrims today left for the twin base camps of Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas amid tight security. A total of 429 pilgrims, including 295 men, 32 women and 102 sadhus, this morning left in a cavalcade of 12 vehicles, including nine buses and 3 LMVs, from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp here, a police official here said. The Yatra which started on July 2 entered the 28th day today and will culminate on July 18.
