SRINAGAR, July 29: A person was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here tonight.
They said unidentified gunmen barged into the residence of one Fayaz Ahmad Rather at Saidpora in Baramulla and fired at him from a very close range, resulting in his on the spot death.
The gunmen later fled from the spot, they said, adding a search operation has been launched in the area to nab the accused. |
