Shopkeeper held for alleged rape attempt on minor 8/23/2016 10:46:43 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 23: A 50 year-old shopkeeper was arrested for alleged outraging modesty of a 6 year-old girl at Gharota area. Police said that following a complaint lodged by the parents of a minor with local police alleging that when their daughter went to fields at Kot area of Gharota locality, a shopkeeper identified as Nazir Ahmed outraged her modesty. "Acting swiftly on the complaint police registered a case under FIR 50/16 u/s 354 of RPC at Police Station Gharota and conducted raids to arrest the accused, police said.
