Kathua, Aug 26 : All Gujjar & Bakarwal District Kathua Committee today called on DDC Kathua under the leadership of its president, Qasim Din Wani and demanded development works in Gujjar localities of entire district Kathua. The deputation submitted memorandum comprising several demands. He said that the deputation demanded replacement of new power transformer, drinking water supply, road connectivity, disposal of land dispute cases under Roshni Act, urdu teachers in Government schools and proper fencing of all graveyards to save them from land mafia at Gujjar localities of village Noura, Jagatpur, Taraf Manjili, Bagh Thali, Dabwal etc.
He further said that all departments must facilitate nomad people under different beneficiary schemes launched by state and union governments.
