Jammu, Aug 26: The deputation of PHE Workers Welfare Association led by Bakshi Singh and Subash Verma provincial president and general secretary of the association called on Minister for PHE/Irrigation & Flood Control Department, J&K Government.
The members brought into the notice of minister all the pending genuine demands both of the daily wagers and permanent employees of the department such as disbursement of wages of all daily wagers, regularization of daily wager after 5 years, enhancement of wages of workers from Rs. 150/- to Rs. 500/- per day, month wise wages be given to the workers and change of designations of field and operational staff according to their present assignments, creation of higher scale pasts to remove the stagnation, creation of welfare fund scheme, providing of inspection/ load carrier vehicles sub-division wise, modification of SRO-380 and conducting of D.P.C. meeting and promotions be done on seniority basis etc. After threadbare discussion on all the issues of the employees which held between the representative of the PHE Workers Welfare Association and minister for PHE and his Colleague Officers, finally PHE Minister after listening the deputationists plea he assured them that all the demands of the workers will be resolved soon positively. |
