| Forest Minister forcibly converting pvt land into government land | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 26: Bharatiya Janata Party government especially Prime Minister of India makes tall claims for strengthening of agricultural sector in entire country but its minister in J&K directs Forest department to grab land of downtrodden people whose voice cannot be raised due to their miserable condition.
Social Forest Department Kathua division allegedly forcibly trying to cover 195 kanal 10 marlas private land bearing Khasra number 289/151 of 7 brothers at Haryachak with poles and barricades.
The actual owners produced revenue records and claim on the land but department has failed to produce any documentation that showed its belongingness with the land. The brothers said the land belongs to their ancestors and there were no ever any closure of Forest department.
Mangal Singh ( Numberdhar of the village) and his brothers alleged on Social Forest department and said that the department was trying to cover their land forcibly backed by Government.
They alleged on the minister to suppress the voice of downtrodden and weaker section besides issued strict direction to Social Forest for covering of their land. They said that the department had no legal documents whereas they had mutation and other legal revenue documents.
They demanded justice, verification of the documents and strict action against Social Forest department that allegedly covered the land without any particular documents.
Tehsildhar Marheen also confirmed the ownership of these brothers and informed that the department could not produce any documents related to land but still forcibly tried to capture the land. He ensured to verify the documents and legally solve the matter. |
