Jammu, Aug 26: Atleast twenty five aspirants today sustained injuries in cane charge by police during recruitment rally organized by Border Security Force (BSF) at Karngi in Akhnoor area.
According to sources, a recruitment drive of BSF was scheduled at Kargi area in Akhnoor where situation turned ugly after a large number of applicants reached to the spot for recruitment.
"All the arrangements were done but the crowd of applicants started increasing and they were trying to enter the recruitment field, sources said, adding, "but the applicants were allowed to enter in the field in a systematic manner owing to which situation turned ugly and the police cane charge to control the situation."
"Around twenty five aspirants sustained injuries in the cane charge and one of the injured was referred to Government medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for advance treatment, sources added. |
