Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 27: Prime Minister Modi is likely to form a fresh team of eminent people to start back-channel deliberations with the people in the Kashmir to end this logjam and end the vicious cycle of violence.
An indication in this regard was given by the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti who had said there needs to be an institution with some credibility which can help in solving this long pending crisis of the state.
According to the sources, the government has short listed some people and will be renamed only after an all-party delegation visits Kashmir.
Source said the team will hold talks with all stake holders in the state not just in the Kashmir. Some people are already holding back channel deliberations and formal break through is likely to take place soon.
An indication in this regard was also given by the home minister Rajnath Singh who said that government not only knows how to break this cycle but also in what manner and more importantly he also said that government is open to talks with anyone and is not closed to any one.
Source said that the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is playing key role in the back channel deliberations and is using his vast network of source to break this cycle.
Source also said its in this background that Governor is also being replaced as he has some fixed approach to the situation and is not able to send this report with the fresh persepective. "The government will start the process of ending the cycle but it will be from the fresh slate and with fresh perspective with utmost concern on credibility and not just only Kashmir centric," said the sources.
