Kishtwar, Aug 27: Imam of jamia masjid, Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kichloo today asked the shopkeepers of Kishtwar to either follow the shutdown calls given of Majlis-e-Shora or be prepared to face a social boycott.
In his Friday lecture, he said some shops, during the yesterday's shutdown call given to condemn the 'killings' in Kashmir and show anger against the registration of FIR against protesters here, were found open and warned their social boycott.
He also slammed chief minister Mehbooba Mufti for the comments made by her during a joint press conference with home minister Rajnath Singh.
He also criticised those members of the community who yesterday welcomed the Janmashtmi procession outside the DC office here and greeted the processionists.
