Sr officer's 2 blue-eyed SHOs not being relieved | | | Early Times Report jammu, Aug 27: Though two Inspectors, who are presently posted as SHOs in Jammu and Rajouri, stand transferred, a senior police officer has asked their 'bosses' not to relieve them and let them continue at their present places of posting till further instructions from him. "The officer has issued instructions to their bosses not to relieve them because he is trying to get their transfer orders cancelled," police sources said, adding that it was unbecoming on part of a senior officer to stoop so low for the sake of his 'blue-eyed' SHOs. Sources said both of them were given the charge of 'vital' police stations in the two districts at the instance of the senior officer. The state PHQ had ordered their transfers along with other lower-rank officers about a month ago. The transfer order carried a direction to relieve all of them at the earliest so that they could join at the new places of posting without any delay. However, even after a month of their transfers, the two SHOs were yet to be relieved. Courtesy: The senior police officer. All other transferees had already joined at their new places of posting, sources informed. Sources said though the senior officer had activated all his resources to get the transfer orders of the two SHOs cancelled, he had so far not received any green signal from PHQ. Both of them stand transferred to another police wing. |
