Jammu, Aug 28: Members of Eco Riders on Saturday organized plantation drive here at Government High School Treva, Arnia.
The plantation drive was started by planting a sapling by Principal Jai Bharti along with the group members of Eco Riders.
"Plantation Drive is the best way to create awareness about trees and love for tress in the heart of general people.
Trees are just like our children and we should nourish them in the same way like we take care of our children", Eco Riders members said.
As a part of the campaign, they will keep on promoting gifting of saplings as a cultural practice and also start an extensive campaign of planting trees in schools, colleges, public premises and other areas through standees. Principal of school congratulate the whole ECO RIDERS group members for taking such a noble initiative to save the environment which is in the shackles of pollution in the current scenario. |
