Jammu, Aug 29: DPs of POJK expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the assurance of disbursement of the Rs 2000 Crore Financial Package funds to POJK and 1965-71 DPs within one month. Besides, it expressed concern on reorganization of J&K State as 36348 which may be bifurcated as under DPs of POJK 1947 ( Settled at Jammu) -Urban : 22719, Rural : 3600, DPs of 1965 - 71: 10029. 5300 families of DPs of POJK 1947 who were shifted to other States through different relief Camps by the Govt. itself have been left out , hence creating the fear of mitigation of fair distribution of pecuniary benefits to all the categories of DPs as in accordance with the definition of DPs defined by Central Government. It confirms turning of blind eye towards the DPs settled outside J&K State. |
