Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 2: Within blames and counter blames between Krsna Diagnostic Center Pvt Ltd and administration of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu, the patients are feeling the burnt who are running from pillar to post to get their medical reports after GMC&H authorities sealed the outlet of Krsna Diagnostics but the administration seems least bothered.
If Sources within GMC&H Jammu are to be believed, the closure of PPP Mode diagnostic centre in hurry and hush- hush manner -is completely political motivated because the centre was running from last two years without any problem.
"Since the establishment of centre neither the administration nor higher ups of the department showed concern over the violation of norms, they said, adding, "the centre was working smoothly."
"But after the sealing of centre the patients are the most affected who have become the victim between the battle of two i.e the authorities and the centre management, they added.
Sources said, "the administration seemingly is unconcerned to ordeal of the patients including suffering with critical health ailments to which they are subjected to in absence of the much clinical/radio diagnostics reports while doctors treating them too are in dilemma what to do - to go ahead with treatment or not."
An attendant of patient from Talab Tillo locality, who got CT Scan of his child conducted from Krsna Diagnostics centre, but when he came to get reports top his surprise he found the centre closed. "Since then I am running here and there but don't know from where to0 get the reports, he lamented. He said if the authorities have to seal the diagnostic centre they should have asked him to provide the reports of all the tests conducted/undertaken by the centre, but they didn't give second thought to what will happen to the patients.
"No one was there to inform to me that what was happened there and from where I get the report," he said. When he requested to authority, they suggested to visit hospital's Radiology department for conducting new CT Scan. "My child suffering from chest related diseases and due to not getting report, the treatment of new born baby is delayed and it may further aggravate problem in future if treatment is not started in time, " he rued.
