Jammu, Sept 24: Security forces in a joint operation claimed to have apprehended two Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) national working for Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror outfit and acting as guides for infiltrating groups along the Line of Control in Uri Sector of Kashmir. Col S D Goswami, defence spokesperson, Northern Command here said, "in a joint operation of Army and BSF, the troops apprehended two PoK nationals on September 21." "During the investigation, the individuals have revealed their identities as Ahasan Kursheed alias DC, son of Mohammad Kursheed of Khaliana Kalan and Faisal Hussain Awan, son of Gul Akbar of Pottha Jahangir, both in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Col Goswami added. Sharing details defence Spokesperson said, "The duo revealed that they were recruited two years ago by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and were acting as guide for terrorists to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LoC). Col Goswami said, "The details provided by them during the questioning are being examined and corroborated by concerned agencies." |
