Police conducts raids to curb immoral activities, many held

Jammu, Sept 24: To put check on immoral activities in the city of temple police today conducted raids in various places in walled city and detained around 12 persons including some girls also.
Police sources said, "Following many complaints about the illegal/immoral activities, the Police conducted surprise raids at various places in the city. Sources also added besides complaint there were input that some locals are indulged in immoral activities through internet and then a special police team led by DySP Headquarters Sugandha Mahajan and Inspector raided various hotels of the city and other establishments at Residency Road, Peer Mitha, Bakshi Nagar etc.
"Police team during these raids also have detained some youth including girls who were found in objectionable position, sources added.
They said that some influential of the Jammu city are also involved in this immoral activities and raids were on till late night to unearth the whole nexus.
