MLA fails to streamline basic facilities, deep bore well lying defunct for months 9/26/2016 10:59:18 PM Arun Trisal Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 26: Bharatiya Janta party and its legislator members make tall claims that their ultimate aim to bring respite for people and to usher a new era of development across the country and in state also but all such claims have fallen flat also people suffer for basic facilities and in such a glaring example local MLA has failed to get deep bore well functional which is lying defunct for months together. Business community and locals from main U-Market of Kathua town lamented that only Deep Bore Well of their area got defunct some months ago but despite of several deputations and representations to MLA Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia the things have not been changed till date. Traders namely Sonu Kohli, Anku and Gulabu Mahajan said this Deep bore well dug out in U- Market of the Kathua town when functional catered the needs of thousands of passengers waiting for transport, visit Banks, market and public offices but they have to fetch water from other areas since it got went dysfunctional due to some technical snag. They lamented that people of area have approached MLA kathua and concerned department but they are waiting for response as they received nothing but assurance only Highlighting the problems of locals and problems of passengers, Choutu, Tony, Nittu said,"This Well should be repaired on priority basis thus both MLA Kathua/concerned officers ought to voluntarily come forward to redress the genuine problem of people and daily commuters."   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
