Srinagar, Sept 27: Suspected militants on Tuesday evening lobbed a grenade towards a camp of paramilitary SSB at Soura area of city here.
According to a police officer, the militants targeted 47 Battalion of SSB stationed in a Pandit house at Bilal Colony in Soura but no one was hurt in the explosion. "The grenade exploded with a big bang but there were no injuries," he said.
The officer said that following the attack, a search operation was started in the area but no one was detained. "The man-hunt for the attackers is on," he added. |
