BAJ welcomes Justice Aradhe

Jammu, Sept 27 : J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, today accorded welcome to Justice Alok Aradhe, who was recently transferred to the state by inviting him and companion judges over a cup of tea during break time.
Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice B S Walia and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal also graced the occasion. In his welcome address, BAJ general secretary A P Singh highlighted the issue of pendency of a large number of cases and expected that the issue would be redressed for the benefit of litigants.
BAH president assured judges full cooperation and assistance of the bar members to reduce the pendency of cases. Vote of thanks was presented by BAJ vice-president Pranav Kohli. A bouquet of flowers was also presented to Justice Alok Aradhe by the BAJ office bearers. Joint Secretary Depesh Singh Pawar, treasurer Rahul Sharma, senior advocates - D C Raina, U K Jalali, K S Johal, Surinder Kour and B S Slathia - AG J I Ganai, AAG Seema Shekhar and ASGI Sindhu Sharma were also present on the occasion.(JNF)
