Reasi, Sept 27: Aarakshan virodhi Manch has criticized the caste based reservation in government jobs.
According to press release, a meeting was held at Pouni Dist Reasi under the chairmanship of sh. Hans Raj Sharma Teh President Pouni on 26Sep 2016.The meeting was attended by the prominent personalities of the area . people from Reasi ,Pouni , Kanna, Bharakh, Triath,Dub ,Dadooa, Kalahar and Tayot .
In the meeting people condemned the caste based reservation in one voice. While speaking on the occasion Hans Raj said that there must be equality in the society and poor must be provided with special support measures. Sat Pal Sharma ZEO(retd) said that caste should not overwrite merit as it has been giving birth to administrative incompetency and jeopardising career of many youths. Reservation has fractured the Hindu society and has weakened it. Jugal Kishore Banathia, Sanjay Kumar, Rajinder Khajuria, Rakesh, Naresh Chander and others also paid tribute to the martyrs and appealed for equality and justice for all. |
