J&K Ranji Trophy probable announced, Mithun may lead | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 29: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association today announced 32-member probable for upcoming season of first class Ranji Trophy season. Former skipper of Delhi Cricket Association, Mithun Manhas, who last year made a comeback to his hometown team and led the J&K, may again lead the squad for upcoming season scheduled to begin from October 6. Meanwhile 16 members each, were announced from both Jammu and Kashmir regions for the tournament. Manhas is an experienced chap and has served Delhi for a record period, an official here said adding that likewise previous year, he may be leading the J&K besides acting as a coach. However, another played from Delhi, wicket-keeper, Puneet Bist has also joined the selection process and is all set to find berth in the team. Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has also named 16-member squad for the Senior Women's team for the upcoming tournament scheduled to take place at Chennai from October 1. |
