Jammu, Sept 29: The venue supervisors of various government institutions of Jammu city, nominated for various examinations of Union Public Service commission (UPSC) held in year 2014, 2015 and 2016 have failed to submit the Utilization Certificates (UCs) of the amount given to them, despite repeated reminders sent by the Commission.
A recent communiqué forwarded by Additional Secretary of UPSC, Maruthi P Tangirala to the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Pawan Kotwal, who in turn forwarded the letters to various institutions including Government Degree Colleges has mentioned that utilization certificates to the tune of Rs. 26,81000 have not been submitted by the venue supervisors. The Divisional Commissioner office has reportedly once against forwarded the communiqué dated 6/89/2016 to venue supervisors of Government Women College Prade, Government MAM College, Gandhi Nagar College for Women, GGM Science College, Government SRML Higher Secondary School Parade, Government Polytechnic College Vikram Chowk, asking them to furnish the utilization certificates along with details accounts to UPSC within a week's time positively.
As per the communication forwarded, the first in the list is the Principle of Women College Parade, Hemla Aggarwal, who has to submit UCs of Rs. 7,60,000, Assistant Professor Aruna Dubey, who has to submit UCs of 1,64,000 and Assistant Professor Nidhi Kotwal who has to submit UCs of Rs. 55,000.
Former Principal of MAM College Dr Anita Sudan has to submit UCs of Rs. 5,86,000 and Assistant Professor Sambodh Kumar of MAM College has to submit UCs of Rs. 1,68000.
Principal of Women College Gandhi Nagar Dr. Kiran Bakshi has to submit UCs of Rs. 1,18000, Assistant Professor Surinder Kumar has to submit UCs of Rs. 49,000 and Surinder Sharma to submit UCs of Rs. 69,000.
Principal GGM Science College Prof Ajeet Angral has to submit UCs of Rs. 32,000.
Principal Government SRML Higher Secondary Parade School KC Khajuria has to submit UCs of Rs. 101000, Principal Manjuballa had to submit UCs of Rs. 61,000, Deepak Kumar had to submit UCs of Rs. 49,000, Anil Dubey has to submit UCs of 71,000, while as Er. Ritu Jamwal of Government Polytechnic College Vikram Chowk has to submit UCs of Rs. 28,000n and Krishan Manhas has to submit UCs of Rs. 8000. Sources in UPSC, pleading anonymity informed Early Times that some of the institutions have recently submitted the UCs but still some of the Venue Supervisors were still not submitting the UCs to UPSC, inviting criticism from authorities, and Additional Secretary UPSC on 26/8/2016 had taken serious note for non-submission of UCs. |
