Ramban, Sept 30: In wake of upcoming festival of Navratra and Dushera, on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mohammad Aijaz, officers conducted market checking at Ramban and realised Rs 2800 from erring traders.
A joint team comprising Executive Officer (MC) Ramban, Zubaida Parveen and Naib Tehsildar GH Sehmat, TSO Ramban carried out a surprise checking in the Cafeteria Market, Bus stand, Main bazaar, Upper Bazaar, Masjid market and Bouli bazaar.
During the inspection, Rs. 2800 was realised as fine from defaulters by checking squad. They also destroyed 50 kg spoilage fruits and vegetables. All the shopkeepers, dabawales and vendors were directed to maintain hygiene and quality of eatables and also ensure display of price list. |
