Avinash Azad Early Times Report jammu, Sept 30: The outgoing Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu has allegedly made bulk transfers of Paramedical Staffers, prior to his retirement. Moreover, the DHS exceeding his limits, transferred several Public Health Nurses comes under Directorate of Family Welfare. Sources in department informed Early Times, control of mafia over transfer industry in Health department came to surface when outgoing DHS issued transfers order of Paramedical Staffers, including X-Ray Technician, Dental Assistant, Pharmacist and other equivalent posts just a month before his retirement. "The Government should keep all orders of transfers made by DHS in abeyance and a probe should be ordered why transfers made in bulk", sources said, and added that ambiance in officer of Director Health Service for last one month was like any fair venue, where people come and buy what they want. Sources further said that several district level officers (CMOs and Dy CMOs) has raised objection over frequent attachment and transfers by DHS Jammu. "Dy CMO, Rajouri Dr ADS Manhas too apprised Director Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization J&K about the frequent attachment and transfer of Public Health Nurse, who was recently promoted", sources said, and added that the DHS had also order of transfer of the PHN who does not come under the jurisdiction of DHS Jammu. "Following her promotion, a Junior Staff Nurse was promoted as PHN and she was posted to District ANMT School Rajouri, where she joined on April 12, 2016, but in between the PHN get modified earlier order and managed to get herself attached at ANMT School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu", sources said, adding that though her attachment cancelled following GAD order number DHS-J/Gen-Adm/4817-26, dated 28/07/2016. "The PHN joined her service at ANMT School Rajouri on 05/08/2016. Astonishingly, the PHN within one month, of her joining at Rajouri, secured and order from DHS Jammu to get herself transferred to ANMT School Gandhi Nagar Jammu again", sources said, and added that Dy CMO Rajouri had recommended her transfer against vacant post in Rajouri. Sources said it was not an isolated case where prize posting is extended to Paramedical Staffers under hefty amount. "During last one month, over one thousand transfers have been made, government should order a probe to unearth the nexus", they added. |
