Never forget the valour of soldiers: Sham Lal

Akhnoor, Oct 16: Sandhya Aarti Committee today organized Sandhya Aarti to pay tributes to our great martyrs of Uri at Jia Pota ghat, Akhnoor.
Sham Lal Sharma Sr Vice President JKPCC & Former Minister was chief guest on this occasion. While paying tributes at Jia Pota ghat Sham said that Pakistan has been indulging in infiltration and pushing trained terrorists into Indian Territory, with a sole motive of disturbing peace and the people should understand the evil designs of neighbour country. He said that the soldiers who got martyrdom will remain to serve as a source of inspiration and induce a commitment to serve the motherland at any cost.
After sandhya aarti former minister said that we should stand united for the nation and support our brave soldiers and due to their vigil we people feel secured.
He said, "Vote bank politics has reached new lows and society is being divided. I want to tell those who divide the nation in the name of secularism to see real secularism, see the army. We can learn the true essence of secularism from our armed forces and I salute our armed forces for upholding the 'Pride and honour of secularism."
He further said that we shouldn't politicise the army action for our personal gains.
The fact that Pakistan has been sponsoring terrorism has been proved time and again in all the terrorist attacks in the country, he said.
He asked Pakistan to embrace the path of peace and leave the path of bombs because it has not done any good to the people, especially the youth and the poor.
Expressing concern over reduce interest among youngsters to join army, Sharma pointed that educated youngsters must get drawn towards the forces because the nature of war is changing where aspects like technology are becoming more important.
After conclusion, two minute silence was also observed to pay tributes to Uri martyrs.
It was also prayed that the soul of martyrs may rest in peace and god may give strength to their families to bear this irreparable loss. At this hour of grief we are always with them.
