SOS International observes black day

Jammu, Oct 22: SOS International - an organization for PoK Displaced Persons today observed black day, the day when Muzaffarabad district of J&K was first attacked by tribals in 1947.
According to press release, a function as organized at Mahesh Pura Chowk, Jammu in which thousands of PoK DPs memorized martyrs of Muzaffarabad by paying them floral tributes. The PoK DPs by wearing black ribbons on their shoulders lodged protest against the tribal attack on their ancestors. Tributes were paid to martyrs of Muzaffarabad who sacrificed their lives for the sake of J&K and rest of the Nation. All-religious prayer was held for rest of martyr's souls of Muzaffarabad (PoK). Lalit Kumar, General Secretary - S. O. S. International recited All-religious prayer (Sarv-Dharma Prarthana). Others who also spoke are Roshan Malhotra, Aditya Hans, Kewal Ram, Sharda Devi, OP Khajuria, OP Sudan, Tarvinder Singh, Sat Paul Lakha, Rajinder Kumar, Master Bodh Raj, Tilak Raj Sethi, Ashwani Bakshi, Capt. Ravinder Kumar and Parmodh Ghai.
