Jammu, Oct 23: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized visit to power grid station, Kishanpur for the students of 5th semester Electrical Engineering.
According to press release, during the visit the students were briefed about the functioning of Wave Traps, Lightening Arresters, CT-PT, Insulators, Capacitors, & Transformers. Students had an intensive interaction with Er. Akshay Sharma Junior Engineer of the Power grid where as Er. MK Atri Manager substation and Er. O.P Sharma JE apprised the students about the functioning of the control panels in the control room of the power grid and Er. Rajesh kumar explained in detail about the functioning of equipments in the switchyard.
The industrial visit was an amazing experience, provided the right exposure and proved to be a definite value addition in their professional knowledge of student . Er. Dinesh Gupta and Er.Loveneesh Talwar accompanied the students. |
