NC cries of atrocities in Kashmir, Omar tweets pictures of semi-nude man
Double speak exposed again!

Early Times Report

Srinagar, Oct 23: Even as the opposition National Conference complains of "atrocities" on the people of Kashmir, the NC working President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is busy enjoying his trip to the United States of America, exposing the party's alleged double speak.
For the last few days, whereas on one hand the National Conference has intensified its attack on the ruling coalition stating that the people of Kashmir are being "victimized" and that the NC stands by them "in this hour of crisis," Omar Abdullah has been tweeting gala pictures of his trip to the US.
Omar Abdullah has been making some funny pictures, which some find awkward. In one such case he posted multiple pictures of a man wearing only underwear and playing guitar on a street there.
"The color of American #Election2016. Outside the #Trump HQ on 5th Avenue. Thankfully this is one American import we have resisted back home," he tweeted alongside pictures. The pictures of this semi-nude man took social media by storm with many people saying that a man of the stature of former Chief Minister should not have posted such obscene pictures even for the sake of joke.
"Get senses. Everything is not worth sharing on Twitter. Will you even tweet selfies from toilet?" tweeted a man.
Many others said his vacations abroad have exposed his double speak. "If he was truly concerned about situation in Kashmir why he left for pleasure trip abroad," asked a netizen. Omar has also been posting pictures tagged #EmpireStateBuilding and #BeingTourist in the US, when his party says "people of Kashmir are crying for life."
The NC leader has even changed his "position on the K-issue." Unlike his father Dr Farooq Abdullah, who apprehends India -Pakistan war, Omar does not see an imminent war looming between the two countries. While shelling continues on the LoC and a BSF soldier was martyred by Pakistani shelling in Jammu, Omar said the two countries are a "lot more careful" about the prospect of war. "I am not one of those who see imminent war looming in the sub-continent. I'd like to believe that both governments in New Delhi and Islamabad are a lot more careful about the prospect of war than perhaps some of our TV channels would like them to be," he said at a conference titled 'India and Pakistan: A Subcontinental Affair' organized by the students of New York University on October 21. Sources said the NC leadership back home has taken serious note of Omar's movements abroad and have decided to pick up the matter with his father and former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah.
"Looking at his(Omar's) style, we are confused on what the actual stand of our party is? His stupid tweets have been putting us to embarrassment. Why he needed to post pictures of the man in underwear," said a National Conference leader asking not to be named. He said Omar's formal speech in the US has also put the party to tight spot and that NC was being cornered by people. "We apprehend a public backlash again," he added.
