Jammu, Oct 24: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Monday condoled the martyrdom of Gurnam Singh and Sushil Kumar, both BSF soldiers who scarified their lives while retaliating the cross firing at the border with Pakistani rangers. According to press release, on this occasion, two minutes silence was observed to condole the demise of the martyrs- one died in Bobiya at Hiranagar sector after sustaining a bullet injury and other succumbed to his injuries at the Govt Medical College Hospital Jammu day before yesterday where no special treatment was provided to the injured. While paying tribute to martyr, NCP, Thakur Randhir Singh demanded at full-fledged enquiry initiated against those who ordered to bring Gurnam Singh after travelling 70Km to Jammu from Bobiya and got admitted in Jammu hospital which is badly reputed and did not fly him to N Delhi for advance treatment like many ministers, ex ministers who are flown to Delhi by state helicopters whenever they fall ill. Those who were paid tribute including Krishan Kumar Digra, Dr Liaquat Ali Magray, Satpal Sharma,R S Billowaria, Raj Singh Jamwal, Javed F Rehman, R C Bali, Vikram Mahajan,Sandeep Manhas, Abhimanyupratap Singh Jamwal, and many others. |
