| Budhal locals protest over non filling of Naib Tehsildar post | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 25: Inhabitants of Budhal area today held a demonstration at Budhal against State government and district administration alleging that for the last more than 48 days the post of Naib Tehsildar is lying vacant making people to suffer in getting their routine works done.
"At preset students filling scholarship forms and for that they need income certificate. These poor students are covering 40 kilometers daily to get the forms signed by the Naib Tehsildar,Kotranka who has been given additional charge of Budhal also" said Mohd Basharat, a social activist.
Khursheed Tantray, Naib Tehsildar Budhal was placed under suspension by the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri in the month of September after his involvement was found in instigating the mob for communal clashes after which administration had to impose the curfew.
Mohd Farooq social activist also said the government is least bothered to resolve issues of the people in remote areas.
Meanwhile a large number of Congress Youth activist under the leadership of Mohd Basharat, General Secretary Darhal-Budhal staged a demonstration and demanded to early filling up of the post of Naib Tehsildar at Budhal so that the poor people of the area may not suffer any more.
"If the government fails to post Naib Tehsildar within few days people will intensify their stir including blockading Rajouri-Budhal road" said Basharat.
Shabir Ahmed Bhat, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri said that the matter shall be taken up with the higher authorities soon so that the people may not face difficulties any more. |
