JAMMU, Oct 25: Government College for Women GCW) Gandhi Nagar claimed the overall trophy in inter-college yoga competition, securing highest 755 points.
The second place went to PG team of JU while GCW Parade remained third. Earlier, the winning Gandhi Nagar team was represented by Nisha Kumari, Roshni Devi, Shikhi Sambyal, Nageena Choudhary, Ruby Sharma and Nilza Angmo. The PG team: Anu Radha, Minakshi Sharma, Suneha Sharma, Ritu Sharma and Anu Sharma. GCW Parade team: Kanchan Devi, Bhawni Seth, Auradha, Rabia Rana, Diksha Sharma and Shashi Sharma.
The title trophy was presented to the GCW Gandhi Nagar team by Prof. Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, JU in the presence of Sumnesh Sharma, Suman Lata, Ravika Arora, Ramesh Magotra and Monika Megwan.
The competition was officiated by the technical penal comprising Harsimran Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Mukesh Sharma, Harinderpal Singh and PD Singh. |
