Early Times Report

Srinagar, Mar 20: Senior PDP leader and Member Parliament, Muzzafar Hussain Beigh, Monday accused separatists of asking children to pelt stones while enjoying a luxurious life.
Addressing a party convention at party headquarters in Srinagar, Beigh said, "The children are victim of politics of deceit of Hurriyat leaders. These separatists don't remember that they will also die one day and have to stand answerable before God. They are unaffected because those killed and blinded are not their children. The separatists get funds to ask the young boys to come out of their homes and pelt stones."
He said separatists enjoy better facilities then Member Parliament outside Kashmir. "I don't enjoy such facilities which they are given when they travel to different parts of India like the All India Medical Institute in Delhi," he said.
According to him, he as a Member of Parliament has to wait but everything is ready forHurriyat leaders at the medical institute.
"They ask children to throw stone from their homes. God give them sense. They won't receive Allah's blessing on the doom's day for destroying lives of children of other people," said the PDP founder member.
The aim of PDP government has not been realized yet because of bad situation since in the Valley. While Jammu and Ladakh moved ahead in progress but Kashmir stayed back due to situation, he said.
"We pray situation remains good this year," he said while seeking votes for the party in the by-poll.
"Give one more chance to PDP to make the party strong. I am sure in next two years; PDP will try to fulfill the promises made. It is not an ordinary election," he appealed the gathering.
The PDP leader while attributing the loss of Congress party in the UP election to the demonetization move, said, "Prime Minister Modi reined in all the currency notes on which these big parties wanted to win elections."
Former FM and MP Muzaffar Baig has said the separatists tell children to throw stones and themselves enjoy better facilities than MPs
He said, "Everyone will come to believe in the battle of ideas through peaceful means so that our own people don't suffer any more."
He said PDP will fulfill all its promises and accomplish the desired agenda of resolution of all problems through reconciliation and dialogue.
The Member Parliament said that any delay in implementation of the peace, development and resolution was only impeded by the uncongenial atmosphere and unfortunate happenings ever since the party formed the government.
Referring to the contribution of the party towards changing the political discourse in the entire subcontinent, he said that it is the sum total of individual efforts by our workers in creating a viable political alternative that advocated peace and dialogue.
In his address, the senior party leader and Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Imran Raza Ansari said that the PDP is committed to the implementation of the 'Agenda of Alliance, however, there is need for a congenial and peaceful atmosphere for the government to pursue its agenda. "Implementation of Agenda of Alliance stands guarantee to political stability in the state and meeting the aspirations of its people. The party is committed for it."
He lauded the efforts of the government for ensuring basic necessities and essential services like ration, electricity, health services and drinking water facilities to people despite the uncertainty, and said that government has effectively rolled out these services and will continue to serve the people of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Nazir said, "The National Conference is a discredited party which has always taken the interests of people and the state for granted for the sake of power. Time and again, NC has made compromises and it is now a group of few individuals with no specific and clear agenda. Only thing the party wants is to grab power and for that it will go to any extent."
