KATHUA, Nov 13: National Secular Forum (NSF) today held a meeting in Kathua and constituted its Kathua District unit wherein Govind Virdhi was declared as its President Kathua District.
The meeting was held in under the chairmanship of Dr Vikas Sharma, NSF State President, informed that NSF is working for the benefit of the youth in every nook and corner of the state. He said that NSF is not related to any political party and wants to strengthened secularism in the state. He said that NSF would fight for the cause of the youth in near future also.
He further added that NSF will drive membership campaign on large scale in Kathua district as well as continue to work for the betterment of students on every cost. On the occasion, Dr Sharma declared Kathua District unit and appointed Raman Bashotra as its General Secretary. Manjeet Singh was appointed as Sr Vice-President. Vicky Verma, Rajat Verma and Akash Sharma were appointed as vice-president. Sidhant Manhas, Vinay Jasrotia, and Ashish Jasrotia were appointed as secretaries. Rahul Virdhi as treasure, Honey Verma as Publicity Secretary, Pankaj Verma as press secretary, Dheeraj Malgotra as Office Secretary while Karan, Vishnu, Arjun, Jatinder, Sahil were elected members.
