Rajouri candidates asked to re-submit education certificate for jobs advertised in 2006
1/12/2018 10:20:30 PM
Early Times Report

RAJOURI, Jan 12: Believe it or not but it is a fact that the interviews for the class IV posts in Rajouri district are underway after 12 years of advertisement/submission of the application forms reportedly by more than three thousand candidates in the year 2006.
On the directions of High Court and considering directions of GAD (2013), Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhry, DDC vide his office notices No.Estt/Adv/104-28 and Estt/Adv/221-45 dt 1/7/17 had directed all the candidates who had applied in response of notification of 2006 to re-submit their education certificates attained as on 14/4/2006.
Sources said few among these candidates have passed away while many others either have joined other jobs or have lost their recites/prove of submission of allocation forms. And only 1340 candidates could re-submit their application forms. 75 posts of class IV employees in Rajouri district were advertised vide No.1 of 2006 dated 22/3/2006 and government order No. 42-GAD of 2006.
"The recruitment process can't be finalized for various reasons despite necessary clarifications/ directions were sought from the General Administration Department (GAD) from time to time by the district administration in conducting the recruitment process" said a senior district officer.
Meanwhile many candidates started crossing maximum age bar. Vinod Sharma and other candidates claimed that in 2009 interviews were conducted for education and other departments but the lists were not declared by the then chairman of District Level Class IV Appointment Committee (DLCIVAC).
Again in 2013,GAD vide its order No.664-GAD dated 23/4/2013 issued directions that the selection process be carried out afresh in strictly time bound manner only for those candidates who had applied in pursuance of 2006 advertisement and shall not be barred for crossing the maximum age bar and shall be given relaxation.
But once again the selection process was delayed for the unknown reasons. Meanwhile many candidates approached the High Court for directions in this matter.
Being chairman of DLVIVAC, the DDC vide his office order No.DCR/PA/139-64 dated 6/1/2018 has constituted 10 member committee to conduct the interviews. Those who failed to re-submit their documents due to various reasons can appear in the interviews on the reserved day i.e January 19 on the condition they should be in possession of receipt/proof of submission of application form in 2006, also mentioned in the order.
