Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 19: Sehyog Charitable Trust condemned the continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan across the International Border and Line of Control across the Jammu Province.
In a press statement, Chairman, Sehyog Charitable Trust Danish Mishra said that the continuous ceasefire violation by the Pakistan is a matter of great concern and should be dealt with iron hands.
Mishra asked the Government of India to take some strict action to teach Pakistan a lesson, so that it does not even think to violate ceasefire violations.
He stated that the border dwellers are the worst suffers of the continuous ceasefire violations. He expressed sympathy with the border residents and assured all possible help to them.
"I am in shock to hear the loss of lives and injuries to people and cattle in the ceasefire violations. I always stood in the forefront to fight for the justice of the border dwellers", Mishra asserted.
"Pakistan is regularly violating ceasefire violations and now time has come when Pakistan should be taught a lesson by initiating strict action", he asserted. He added that worst sufferers of the cross border firing are border residents.
He demanded compensation of Rs 25 lakh for the kin of those, who are killed in the ceasefire violations, Rs 10 lakh to family of those who sustained injuries, Rs 1 lakh to those who lost their cattle and Rs 5 lakh for those, whose houses got damaged in the cross border firing.
Mishra also asked the Government of India to formulate a comprehensive policy for the border dwellers so that they do not suffer during ceasefire violations by the Pakistan.
He also asked the State Government to ensure full proof security of the border residents, besides appropriate arrangements for their meals and stay in the shelter houses.
